I hope this finds you well.
I have not been in touch for a while as I have been head down working on a new book project. The draft title is Lead Yourself First: The Map You Were Never Given - it's about individual self-authorship as a collective response to a world in crisis. The book will make the case that inner-led leadership is one of the most important things a human being can develop right now, not just for themselves (although it helps A LOT), but for what becomes possible when enough people do it.
At this stage, I am not sure if I am writing this book - or if it is writing me!
As part of the writing process, I am posting book-related excerpts and thoughts on LinkedIn and Substack. This has been hugely helpful, as readers have shared comments and feedback publicly and privately, which is helping to push my thinking. Here is the most recent article:
The Knowledge Era Is Ending. Here's What's Replacing It.
If you have a moment, I would love to know how the argument lands for you: Does the shift from the Knowledge Era to the Developmental Era ring true to your own experience? Is there a piece that does not resonate, or part of this you would push back on?
Your honest reactions, including the ones that disagree, will help shape the book. Thank you!
Yours in learning,
Julie
